Katharina Medek graduated from PG Ursulinen in 2006, Salzburg, and has been studying human medicine at the Medical University of Innsbruck ever since. She joined the Neonatal Neuroscience Group in January 2010 and has just started to work on her diploma thesis concerning the effect of potential neuroprotective substances on hypoxic-ischemic brain damage.
